Our Websites Bring Results

Your Customer May Be One Click Away

You're probably just one click away from your next customer, whether they're 50, 100, or a thousand miles away. We want your customer's next click to be for you.

Why Choose Ez Information Management

I build one-on-one, personal relationships with my clients on a first-name basis. Together, we create and maintain a system that gets to the root of what my client's customers are looking for--easy to navigate, simple language, and attractive.

Small Business Package

Our Business Package offers e-commerce solutions, shopping carts, and tools to manage and track your services. Our prices start as low as $3,000 spread over a 3-year development and maintenance schedule.

How Much Do We Cost?

We ask for 50% of our estimated cost under the contract, with the remainder spread over the next 30 months. We usually provide 2 hours of free maintenance service each month for minor issues and software updates.

Local Government Package

Our Local Government Package is designed for complex local governments that provide a multitude of services with many employees. Our websites for most small cities and counties start at $6,000 spread over a 3-year contract.

Specialty Package

Some people and organizations have unique requirements, such as artists and musicians. So, we'll work out a custom agreement. We'll work for a very low $50 per hour rate if we choose to work on your project. Pricing may be similar to our small business package.

Four Qualities We Strive For

1

Promoting

We create simple, clear websites that showcase your products or services. Our user-friendly designs help you attract more customers and build a stronger reputation.
2

Empowering

You only need basic word-processing skills for most maintenance tasks, and we'll train you to do it as much as you like. Otherwise, we'll maintain your website free for the first two hours each month and $50/hr for time beyond that.

3

Inviting

Our website design will help you attract more visitors. We'll make sure the site looks great on mobile phones and meets the W3C standards for handicap access.

4

Supporting

After we build your website, we'll keep supporting you. We'll update your website code and offer free monthly help for small content changes. If you need bigger updates, our hourly rate is very affordable.

What To Do Next

Start by filling out our online form about your website needs. This helps both you and us get clear on what you want. Next, we'll talk with you and, if needed, show you some sample website models so you can decide what's most important. This process keeps your project on track and avoids extra costs or delays.

Filling out this Request for Information form will accomplish two things:

  • It will help you think through what you need, and
  • It will give us a big head start with the detailed interviews that may follow.

How We Design Your Website

How do you currently share information and services with your customers?
  • Why do you want a website?
  • What will your website visitors do?
  • Who will use your website? Where are they? How many people do you expect?
  • What information will you put on the website?

Your Customer is One Click Away

  • Startup Budget: How much will you spend to build and launch the website?
  • Website Hosting: What is your budget? Small sites are cheap, but large sites with many visitors cost more.
  • Maintenance Budget: How much will you spend on maintenance? How often will you update the site?
  • Advertising: Will you pay to promote your website, like with Google Ads or Facebook ads?

Your Customer is One Click Away

  • Trademarks: Do you have any trademarks to use on your website? Could another site with a similar name cause problems?
  • Website Name: Do you have a domain name? If yes, does it work well? If not, what should your website name tell search engines and users?
  • Logo: Do you have a logo? Do you want one? Do you know a graphics artist?
  • Competitors: What other websites matter for your success? Who are your competitors and what are their website addresses?

Your Customer is One Click Away

  • Look and Feel: Have you seen features on other websites you want to use? If yes, where?
  • Users: Who will use your site and why? In one short sentence, how would you describe your products or services to a customer?
  • Example Websites: Which websites could serve as models for yours? List their web addresses.
  • Partner Websites: What sites will link to yours? Who will you refer customers to? What related services are there?

  • Timeline: When do you want your website to be ready?
  • Contact: Who will be your main website contact?

Your Customer is One Click Away

  • As soon as you launch your new website, it might already feel outdated.
  • Someone else may release a better feature.
  • Your products might change.
  • You might update your services.
  • Competitors may make changes, and you need to respond.
  • You might even find an error.
  • Or you see something to improve.
The worst thing to do is nothing.

Your Customer is One Click Away

  • Plan for fixes and updates from the start.
  • For simple mistakes, quickly edit articles or data in your tool. Fix errors before they hurt your credibility.
  • Updates: In Joomla, most updates are just a click. But someone still needs to do it.
  • Tool Replacement: Replacing a module is easy, but if the tool manages data, be ready to rebuild your data.

This single-page design is optimized for mobile phones, where people prefer scrolling over clicking through pages.

Farm Service Solutions

This business sells a wide range of farm equipment for cattle handling and tractors. Since these items are large and costly, they aren’t sold online. Instead, the website displays multiple photos and details for each item, including manufacturer, price, and date acquired. The owner can easily keep inventory up to date with high-quality photos.
Below is a screenshot of their grass and hay equipment inventory. The site is mobile-friendly, with advanced search and easy scrolling.

We Use Joomla. The Best Content Management System

We use Joomla because it's a modern content management system with more built-in features than WordPress and is easier to use than Drupal. Joomla gives you full control over your website’s content and security. If you can use a word processor, you can manage your site—or we can do it for you. Joomla supports a wide range of website designs and is ideal for most businesses and organizations. It also has a strong global developer community.
